if you are reading this you are invited to SEASON TWO of our beautiful, everlasting, digital world of peace and love!
IT'S THE BOMB!
we (cal, nadia, ned, ellie, grace, and josh) have spent over a year playing on the same world together. building a sweet neighborhood, doing late night cave explorations, lots of two week binge phases, huge creative mode builds, extreme home makeovers, PVP tournaments, we've done it all in this world... and we're looking to do it all over again in a new land, with new faces, more friends, and even more opportunities!
on May 11th at 6pm, we'll be RESTARTING the world anew, and we want you to join us :) because...
sharing is caring
this will be a fairly vanilla, classic survival, no cheats/creative, friendly romp. we'll be starting out in a sick ass "classic" area with mountains, ocean, forests, rivers, grassy plains, etc! plenty of great spots to build your dream house (or castle or base or whatever floats your boat really). here's a quick little map of the starting area we sketched out:
if you're new to minecraft (or video games for that matter), here's the rundown:
make sure you have a computer/laptop that can run minecraft (you can look it up to see, but chances are, whatever you got access to can run it as long as it's a mac or a PC. minecraft can run on a potato) NOTE: THIS WILL NOT WORK WITH CONSOLE! you need the JAVA version of minecraft to join our world, not bedrock
buy minecraft if you don't already own it - it's the best $30 you'll ever spend in your life, we promise. no hidden fees, subscriptions, microtransactions, or any BS like that. you buy it, you own it forever!
create a username and SEND your username to us! (we have to type in your username to the server console whitelist since it's protected from unknown players joining)
download the minecraft launcher
you'll need the latest version of the game, which is version 26.1.2
go to "multiplayer" and then click "add server"
type in the SERVER IP (that we'll share with you once you send your username)
ta da!!! we're ready to live out our new lives as minecraft people. wow
if you have any questions, feel free to reach out to any of us and we'll help you along and be IT guys/gals as needed. if you're on the fence about spending $30, we'll happily give you an even better sales pitch (or help out bc we're nice and it's worth it :))
WE'RE SO EXCITED!! legit lined up at the spawn like this:
hope to see you May 11th!! if you can't hop on then, don't worry! we'll be playing for a loooong time.
